The alarm clock does suddenly not record movement. #84

I have been running this clock for over a year now and is has been running 
fine. For some reason it will no longer record movements. The power is on and 
the screen is on, nevertheless it displays this information 30 min before the 
clock should go off:

Smart Alarm Clock is searching for the best moment to wake you up.

Unfortunately, this phone cannot record movements while the screen is off due 
to known firmware bug. Please use the charger every night.
----------------------

The phone is a HTC Desire. Running android 2.2.1. Kernel version Cyanogenmod 
6.1.1-Desire
