Similar revenue from Fairfax County, VA: http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/dmb/fy2013/adopted/where_it_comes_from.htm
I'm thinking a separate page would be a good way to create this for now. We could add it as a tabbed interface to the original homepage.
This means Ashleigh can replicate the existing code too, and alter it without affecting the original chart. We'd need to figure out how to separate the JS pieces to get that going, which would be a good first task.
You can find revenue information on pages 45-51 of the FY15 School Budgets document (see link below).
I will keep looking for info for FY14!
It sounds like we might need to go on data digging mission to get this info. I suggested Ashleigh email journalists or other people who've written about funding numbers to see where they got their data.
Here is the best breakdown I have found for the school district operating revenue FY2014:

This is a stub for the feature originally posted here: https://github.com/CfABrigadePhiladelphia/schoolbudget.phl.io/issues/3
From there we can start the discussion on how to achieve your vision from a technical standpoint in a way that benefits both Philly and any other school using this site for their own data.
