ERROR: readme.txt version does not match version #9

I have the following in my README.md

Tags: shipping, woocommerce, trinidad, tobago Requires at least: 4.4 Tested up to: 4.9 Stable tag: 1.0.0 Version: 1.0.0

I have the following in my main file ......

Version: 1.0.0

Author: Kendall Arneaud

Author URI: http://kendallarneaud.me

License: GPL-2.0+

License URI: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.txt

Domain Path: /languages */

In executing the command wp-release on my MacOS I get the following

xxxx-shipping.php version: Version: readme.txt version: 1.0.0 ERROR: readme.txt version does not match version in xxxx-shipping.php.

Why is it not getting the version?

apparently changing '{print $2}' to '{print $3}' worked for me
