Purpose of code changes on this branch:

1. Fix bugs in the LPP-related code

2. Make it easier to use LPP

3. Abstract parts of the LPP to make it more extensible

When reviewing my code changes, please focus on:

1. Commenting for the new classes.

2. I've verified the LPP code works, but a once over would definitely help.

After the review, I'll merge this branch into:
/trunk
