For this feature, can't we just have a share button that gives you the option to send via SMS/MMS?

MMS only sends a still frame of the GIF. Either we wait for someone to implement this, or we do it ourselves and constrain MMS sending to users of our app.

Even with a button we'd still need to integrate it using some API, no?
