What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download a file through Safari download plug-in.
2. Try to open the file saved in /var/root/Downloads/ in Books.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Would like to be able to open files anywhere on the file system. Instead
it's currently limited to /var/{user}/Media/EBooks.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest night build. 1.1.3.

Please provide any additional information below.
- Could be an (advanced) option in Settings menu.

Given the restrictions piled on the SDK, this feature definitely won't fly when the time comes to "go legit." Not going to implement for now as we'd just have to rip it out later. It *is* possible to point Books at a different root by setting a preferences setting manually. Feel free to do that, and we won't break it; but there won't be any GUI to set this.
