Doesn't work on google app engine #1

I think this "issue" has more to do with app engine than the code itself. 
I mean, I can see the progress but only when it's finished, so it's kind 
of useless.

Why do you want to use a text-mode library on appengine (which is web based)?

I just wanted to have a progress bar... and the "text-mode" library can be 
useful 
because I can "query" the status and make a javascript based progress bar
