Hi Eric, Thank you for contacting us. Please note that the calibration program does not stop until you press the 'ctrl+c', otherwise the servo will be stuck in the 90 degrees, and we recommend you to install the wheels after finishing the calibration.

When I run the picar servo-install script, it states the servo is set to 90 degrees but it never goes back to my prompt (it never closes). The first time I ran everything it sent the front wheels hard left and kept trying to do it. It got extremely hot and now it doesn't do anything did I break it? This is for a work project that I need to finish testing by the Wednesday. Please get back to me as soon as you have a chance. @sunfounder I came here because of the same issue. The PDF documentation says
Now the servo may or may not make noises to rotates to 90 degrees. Script will end almost immediately, but all servos will keep at 90 degrees. You can continue the rest assembly.
Can we then assume the documentation is incorrect?

Hey There... I'm having the same issue. What is the workaround?
I just went ahead and bought new servo’s from amazon. Basically the servo you have is broke when the code ran and overheated.

How does this step go when the servo is good?
Once you out the handle (little white piece that controls the front wheels) on the end and run the servo install command it will turn left and turn right. It will then stop at 90 degrees, if that handle isn’t straight ahead just take it off and put it on the right way. The servo itself will stay at 90 degrees unless you turn it manually so be gentle, or you’ll have to run the code again

Hey.... Is there anything else you did?
I ordered servos and am getting the same error. They are happening on all of them so I'm feeling it is something with the package/code.
Wipe the file and start from square one is the only thing i did different.

Did you need to press ctrl + C to terminate the package?
When you started from scratch, did you start from reinstalling Raspbian buster?
Yes either ctrl + c or z.
I didn’t reinstall raspbian basically just deleted the Picar directory and files and started from there.

Thanks... I reread your original problem. my error is a traceback error after running servo install. I didn't calibrate it until after I set it up but my Servos didn't get hot. Is this ctrl c and traceback error expected? It isn't in the instructions.
Okay got it. Yes the ctrl + c is expected just not in the instructions. After you do the servo install are you not allowed to run the front wheel test?

That's good... there might not be anything wrong with my servos.
When I type ctrl +C, I am getting an error similar to this one, but mine is different. It didn't work when I tried it.
