Find alternative hosting as free hosting is ending #7

Meteor free hosting is going to end on March 25, 2016. Meteor Icon is currently hosted on http://icon.meteor.com/. We need to find an alternative host and notify current users how to migrate.

This is awesome and I'd like to help. Have you tried reaching out to Heroku or Digital Ocean? DO is usually pretty good about supporting stuff like this.

I haven't reached out to DO yet. I was hoping to host it on Galaxy but haven't heard back from MDG.

Give these guys a try: https://www.ctl.io/free-trial/ - $500 credit should last over a year on appfog (PaaS like heroku)

@hubdotcom, do you know if AppFog has added web sockets or made other changes since this article was last updated? (Meteoropedia Link) Regardless, free is free and I'll try them out this weekend!
