I have xcode 3.2.6 and I can't open the project, I've got a crash windows which 
say "Xcode quit unexpected"

Have you tried with Xcode 4.0.2? I don't have your problem with this version.

I haven't tried with XCode  4.0.2 because it is a paid version. Is in-the-box 
available for Xcode 3.2.6?

I must say I have no idea as for Xcode 3.2.6, sorry. Hopefully one of the 
people in charge of this project will tell you.
