Ctrl + Alt + M has stopped working #48

The hot key Ctrl + Alt + M for JSFormat has stopped working after the last update of notepad++ JSFormat from the plugin's menu works ok. npp 7.5.1 jstool 1.21.0.0

sunjw commented 7 years ago

Is this issue happened on any js file? Or there is one special file make it stop working. I cannot reproduce this issue on a clean installed npp 7.5.1. And there was an issue #47 that someone else can use format function on 7.5.1.

holden321 commented 7 years ago

Just created a new tab. Entered something like {"a":1} and pressed the hotkey. Well, ok then. Thanks for your quick response. Close the issue if you want to. Maybe something wrong with my notepad. Maybe some other plugin seize this hotkey. ctrl + alt + J works, by the way.

Could you try a clean install or just unzip a zip version for npp? Or send me your plugin list?

holden321 commented 7 years ago

I removed all plugins except your and the hotkey is still not working. Maybe something wrong with my OS or keyboard. By the way, can you add a button to JSFormat ? like this http://joxi.net/LmGE79aheGGjbA

Reinstalling notepad++ also did not help.

sunjw commented 7 years ago

You may try clean install, I think. And you means add a button for format function? Emmm.... maybe hot key works better (except something is wrong like your environment).

I also have this problem. Tried clean install but didn't solve the problem. @holden321, did you find any solution?

Have not changed anything else in Np++ so it just stopped working one day. I use Windows 10.

Not, until I saw your comment. I decided to think a little more and accidentally found that if I switch off "In-game overlay "option in GeForce Experience then the hot key started to work. http://dl3.joxi.net/drive/2017/11/06/0011/0967/779207/07/6e69901797.jpg

Yes, that solved my problem too. Thanks! CTRL+ALT+M turned off/on the microphone for that in-game overlay.

Same issue. For me it was a third party application Macrium Reflect that also had Ctrl+Alt+M assigned as hotkey and kept opening blank pages in the background. Once I deactivated Macrium Relfect hotkey the JSFormat started to work. Thanks

You are a genius, thanks. I had a similar problem with another shortcut with AMD's software.

I found it was the GeForce overlay, press Alt + z, settings and re-assign ctr+alt+m (mute) to another key
