Define Dataset: Municipal Population Projections (Statistics) #28

Define the essential substantive elements of the state Municipal Population Projections dataset. What are the components that it must minimally include? Do we have a dataset that we could hold up as a model?

Well, you'd need:

locality name
locality FIPS code
estimate as of date X

But then things are complicated by MSAs, planning districts, etc., which don't have FIPS codes.

Here's Virginia's data—those are the basic fields that it provides.
