The polygons I exported to KML are sorted according to their ID in the 
GIS-software (Manifold Systems) I've been using. I couldn't find an easy way 
(at least not yet) to do the sorting before exporting the polygons to KML. I 
discussed the sorting possibilities in the developer support forums (thanks 
again for your help!) and was directed to post this message to the feature 
request page.
