I had a random idea the other day, which is that rather than sharing out the credentials for twitter and having to post to many places. If we resurrected the long dead sunpy announcements matrix channel and wrote a simple bot which forwards all messages in that channel to twitter it would be easier for anyone on the core team to tweet.
If we found ourselves posting announcements to other short form places (mastodon anyone?!) then we could also have that room forward there.
