Apparently git tags are the recommended way to preserve historical versions of the code, rather than leaving old branches lying around: https://ardalis.com/why-delete-old-git-branches

So I've tagged the old branch v0.1.0, and the new branch v0.2.0.

Once it's merged, and we're sure everything has gone well, we should probably delete the "arch" branch.
