FR: Use html type=date inputs for the datepicker value #40

I think in general using an html5 input with type=date gives a better UX as the user gets something they're more familiar with and expecting. It's weird not using the input that pops up on an iphone or android device and the smaller picker is more cumbersome to navigate, imho of course.

Okay- will check this out. Not sure how it behaves on different devices, but I'm happy to adopt whatever works for all.
