Trading platforms and the importance of RM players

I've been thinking something while spending my 3.17 archnemesis collection (above was innocence + brine king + some random 3 item ones), and I realized why trading experience in POE is so bad, while on d2jsp it actually feels pretty good to trade. If I wrote an article, I'd just get downvoted, so I'll just take some notes here.

1. d2jsp: allowing RM player = more buyers = more active. Auction based = give items its real value. Community = fewer scammers. Poor forum design = only more recent trading is valid. Notification = meh. PM communication = meh. Subpar tool with the best trading experience due to a RM related currency.
2. discord: mostly active players = more sellers. No auction = overpriced items. Great vouching mechanism. Great notification. Great DM. Great tool, but no so great to sell stuff.
3. POE in game: very active. Best searching. Meta driven. Poor communication. No instant sell = missed trading during mapping. Encourage negative loop, very very bad design.
4. D2R in game: garbage.

• Make a Scion, do the prologue, stash, Onslaught
• Level 2: Grab Freezing Pulse, by the end of act 1 try and find a BBG, BBB and RGB item.
  • Current skills: Freezing Pulse (B), Onslaught (G), Arcane Surge (B)
• Level 4
  • Mud Flats -> Tidal island, log, grab quicksilver
  • Grab Summon Phantasm, Holy Flame Totem and Flame Wall
  • Ideal links at this point:
  • Freezing Pulse (B), Onslight (G), Frost Bomb (B)
  • Holy Flame Totem (R) - Phantasm Suppport (B)
  • Frostblink (B), Arcane Surge (B)
• At level 8, magic wand craft (Topaz + Magic Wand + Alteration = Lightning damage wand)
  • Go to lower prison, waypoint, go back to Submerged Passage and kill Granddaddy Crab, relog.
  • Grab Added Lightning damage gem and skillpoint from Tarkie.
  • Pick a skill you prefer, swap out the other one for added lightning damage. (If you dump Frostbomb, hang onto it somewhere for use against Brutus, since it takes out 15% of his Frost resistance)
  • Go kill Brutus, swap Frostblink for Flame Dash
  • Continue the act until you hit Merveil's cavern (Don't forget to kill ole Fairgraves!)
• By this point, you should be at least level 12, go back and grab Spirit Offering and Absolution. Hopefully you have an R-G-B item by now.
  • Dump Freezing Pulse and Frost Bomb.
  • Go with Absolution (R), Onslaught (G) and Added Lightning Damage (B).

Act 2

• Do the Den for the extra Quicksilver, if you want.
• Level 16, BUY Summon Skitterbots from Meena, Herald of Thunder from Greust
• Level 20 - Vendor craft ONE new magic wand with a Rare Topaz, a Magic Wand and an Alteration.

Act 3

• Level 24: After Crematorium, grab Convocation and either Despair or Conductivity. Despair is better now, Conductivity is better later.
• Ignore Gravicious, go to the Library, do Siosa's quest.
• Purchase Feeding Frenzy, Shield Charge and Faster Attacks
  • Link Shield Charge and Faster Attacks (You're going to need a shield. Obviously)
  • Also, if you can, grab Herald of Purity and Summon Specters and level them in your offhand.
• Level 24, slot in Convocation and Conductivity somewhere. Put Convocation of Left click so it summons your minions to you as you move.

Level 28 ideal loadout:

• Absolution (R) - Added Lightning (B) - Onslaught (G) - Controlled Destruction (B)
• Shield Charge (R) - Faster Attacks (G)
• Flame Dash (B) - Arcane Surge (B)
• Convocation (B)
• Conductivity (B)
• Spirit Offering (B)

Blood Aqueducts Ideal Loadout

• Absolution (R) - Physical To Lightning (B) - Controlled Destruction (B) - Spell Echo (B)
• Raise Zombie (B) - Carrion Golem (B) - Feeding Frenzy (B)
• Shield Charge (R) - Faster Attacks (G)
• Flame Dash (B) - Arcane Surge (B)
• Determination, Herald of Purity, Skitterbots, Desecrate and Spirit Offering don't need linking, just putting somewhere.
