Question: backlight_mode=0 and backlight_sel=0 #1

Do you know the effect of the following configs? backlight_mode=0 backlight_sel=0

My radio is dimmed when the light is off and bright when the light is on. Could this be fixed with these configs?

It's referenced in libpanel_boot.lib which is a part of uboot. I have attached the decompiled code. I'll try and find the panel datasheet to see what the options are. I'm pretty sure the backlight dimming is controlled by the MCU. I would disconnect your backlight wire and see what the voltage is when your lights are on. It's expecting +12v.

Sorry if I was not specific enough. I meant when the radio is on dimmer auto and the lights of the car are off the radio gets into dimmer mode on and if the lights are on if is in dimmer mode off (so the other way round as it should be). I thought maybe this ca be fixed with the settings.

Same problem here. I have a Peugeot 308 and when the car lights are on, the auto dimmer sets the screen lights to max. Its seems that the behavior is the inverse of the expected. Is there any way to configure it? Thanks

Hello here,

I have a Citroen Berlingo and I have the same experience than you. The auto-dimmed mode is inverted. I use a connect2 interface between car and head-unit. Regards,
