[improvement] Support for XAV-AX200 #10

Hi there! What would be required to get this working on the ax200 (basically same unit but with CD drive)

I can connect via uart and get any info you may need. LMK!

any update on the update_backup not being active or how can i help?

how are the chances of getting this to work with an ax200?

i'm would like to order an ax200, but if the caution screen is not fixable i will order an ax100 instead.

in the meantime i have just bought an ax100. CautionDisable works great! thanks!

the second usb port basically works also, but playback stops when using carplay. but it is still useful as it is no longer necessary to unplug und replug the usb stick.

an usb hub does nor work.

there is a description and images somewhere.

the second usb port basically works, but if the phone is connected there is no way to with to the usb port from the interface as the usb button disappears.

Thank you for the reference for the second usb port. I would like to avoid opening the device and void the warranty for now.

Did you try usb hub personally? In this reddit post someone says it actually does work https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidAuto/comments/83q8sg/comment/e23xzk5

On xda someone says usb hub works as well https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71107536&postcount=20

So I’m not sure now where the truth lies.

i did try and it did not work. the device even detects the hub and there is a message that hubs are not supported.

maybe it depends on the hub.

FYI. Sony's v1.01.00 firmware addresses the automatic dismissal of the the caution dialog.

XAV-AX200 firmware v1.01.00
