Hey man really love the work you have done is there a way to change the behavior of the FM scanner to use single decimal point increment (to search for odd frequencies ) instead of 2 decimal points because the country I'm using the device in has odd numbered frequencies unlike USA

There is a radio.conf in spapp/siba/etc/

I would guess the step controls that, not sure if Region makes a difference though.

Im sorry im new to this how can i open the .img file and edit this ?

It's in the SPAPP squashfs partition so it would have to be extracted, modified, and repackaged. I have a test unit I can try it on and should be able to put a test package together this weekend.

I would really appreciate it man. the frequencies I’m looking for are 88.8 and 90.4 with the current configeration they are always skipped

Anyone found a solution on to upload the fix to the radio? I contacted my local Sony support but they are dragging their feet.

please can someone update the radio FM_step and repackage the whole update?

Is there anyone tried the update file downloaded from sony Europe website like sony.com.uk or sony.fr? I saw a picture from uk in which the FM can tune at 100.0MHz

I tried the update file from the UK and it didn't change anything. I tried contacting Sony on this but no joy.

I am unable to tune in to even number of frequencies (88.6 88.8) but it only goes to 88.5 and 88.7.

I live in the UAE so I am unable to hear most of the FM in the middle east. Please let me know if there is a fix for this.

@Shumayal I have the same issue in the UAE, No real help from Sony for an update that adds the spacing needed here. So for now I just stream radio channels using TuneIn Radio with Apple Car Play

That is really sad. I just got this radio yesterday and I'm already off to a disappointing start. FM is very important to me as we don't subscribe to data. As you know Data prices in UAE are expensive. Did you try to update to 1.02.09 from Sony Asia? Unfortunately I have already updated from the US version and it gives me a "Data not compatible".

I hope Sony or @superdavex can help us please :'(

I recently updated using the UK file and its still same. When I bought the radio from the US I was hoping it would be easy software setting but so far not.
