Logo Only with stock firmware #24

@superdavex : Just found this repository and your work done on the xdadevelopers forum. Thank you for your contributions!

Am I correct that stock Sony firmware looks for CUST_PACK.BIN and then uses that as a script, and this is how you are getting your firmware loaded?

Would it be possible to use the approach to only update the boot logo image file?

I actually am about to get an XAV-AX210 and would like to use a similar approach with that system, although I'm sure we'll need to figure out its partition layout in order to get it done.

I'd prefer to NOT touch any of the other firmware, just get the logo done, and by the least invasive means possible. I'm happy to help and be a guinea pig. Well, to a certain degree :)

Hey @bplein did anything ever come of this? I've got an XAV-AX210 also and would be interested in changing the boot logo and potentially disabling the warning message on boot.

Nope. I’m running stock firmware.
