This isn't documented and I wasted a huge amount of time trying various USB sticks before finally trying to load the CautionDisable firmware first.
At least in the ChangeLogo readme, it should clearly state that the CautionDisable firmware must be installed before trying to do the logo update.
I definitely wanted to get rid of that screen too, but I was most interested in customising the boot logo so I started with that. Caused me a lot of grief and wasted time.
That said, thanks heaps for making this available!!
It's very cool being able to ditch the Sony logo and make it look like a stock system. It's a pity Sony doesn't allow this out of the box, and that caution screen is incredibly annoying.
