Why

As a users or developer onboarding to SuperDuperDB I need to have a clean and non-buggy way to install the software.

How

Go through the setup procedure through the eyes of a developer, making sure all steps run smoothly. Document this in a markdown document which we can include in the docs build.

What

• [x] clean install from 0 using pip
• [x] minimum working example as a notebook, which developers can execute
• [x] running test suite
• [ ] setting up a cluster deployment of SuperDuperDB (hard)
  • [ ] setting up our server (non-existent)
  • [ ] setting up CDC process
  • [ ] setting up LanceDB for vector-search use-cases
  • [ ] setting up Dask for scalable use-cases

Closing as most of these issues have been completed and I believe that the outstanding tasks are covered by our work on Colab and Binder (eg #557).
