Pressing delete should close the completions popup #128

Completions stop me from even deleting text when I place the cursor at the end of a table or column name.

Can you provide a way to turn off this feature? Or just make it work when I've started typing something that is likely to be a table or column name?

can you provide more details on the exact steps you're taking, I'm not seeing an issue. If the popup is shown and you press backspace, it'll be automatically closed and the backspace applied. You can turn off the syntax highlighter from the preferences, that'll disable the completions.

There isn't a backspace key on a MacBook. Pressing the delete key does nothing. It does not close the popup.

I did turn off the syntax highlighting and that took effect after restarting.
