Nether and End? #9

Hello!

I have been starting to play around with this mod already for my server to inspire more exploring underground. It is amazing! You have a good grip on noise, gen, and what interesting caves look like :)

Is is viable to have Worley caves in the Nether? There are already cave systems, and in the future ravines, and I think would be quite an interesting way to get around. I'm using BiomesOPlenty and NetherEx, so it would get more spawnable surfaces for the biomes to interact with. I'm even considering putting some rare "abandoned cities mod" tunnels, and lifting the height limit to accomodate more caves.

Is is viable to have Worley caves in the End? In this case I would think of turning the surface cave chances to near-zero, but again there are many thaumcraft/BoP/etc surfaces that could be exposed, and included as part of interesting builds on end islands.

Would it be viable to have a per dimension setting? Potentially for having 'standard worley' caves for Overworld and 'whirly Worly" nether preset, or if wanting to shift TheBeneith and alien worlds with other configurations.

Apologies for so many questions - its a new mod for me and Im looking forward to surprising my players with extending the world border and including these in!

Glad you're enjoying the mod. Viable is the nether? Yes, should be. I can look into that Viable in the end? Probably not since there's no natural cave gen in the end I can override Per dim settings? Separate nether/overworld settings, yes. Separate settings for all dims, no.

Niiice. That would be a sweet inclusion to have - I'm already thinking of what kind of nether curly settings that I'd like to test.

Thanks for the consideration! 💚

Random other project that I encountered that seemed to add caves and ravines to the nether, with only a few classes
