Get this when I do 'minecraft console'

"Cannot open your terminal '/dev/pts/0' - please check

Yes, this is due to a race condition in Ubuntu's init. See Issue 26. I'm yet to come up with a good way to work around this. Feel free to raise a bug with Ubuntu in the meantime.
