Domoticz shows opposite status of my blinds #9

Hello,

Recently I got Faher blinds, which work with the Brel DD-7002B wifi hub. I installed the Domoticz-Brel-Plugin and it works fine (so thanks for that!), except that the switch in Domoticz shows the exact opposite of the actual situation. So when the blind is open, this is what Domoticz shows:

brel-home-hub-status

Changing the "Reverse Open/Close State" setting does not solve the issue. Neither does emptying the cache of my browser. By the way: the open and close buttons on the switch do work correctly.

Maybe this problem is related to this Github-issue I found? https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz/issues/5424 In the reactions to this issue, the Domoticz developer (gizmocus) indicates that "plugins need to be adjusted". https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz/issues/5424#issuecomment-1323243184

Maybe this adjustment also has to be done to the Domoticz-Brel-Plugin? (I'm not a PHP programmer myself so I could be mistaken altogether here....)

In any case, I really like the plugin; maybe you could look into this issue.

Thanks!

Best regards, Jan Michielsen

Hi Jan,

The new behaviour is already implemented. Are you using domoticz 2022.2 ?

I don't use the Brel hub anymore myself, therefor I stopped maintaining this plugin. Maybe changing to switch-type to "Blinds" makes a difference?

Best of luck ;)

Hi superjunky,

Thanks for your quick response. I use domoticz 2023.1, so I should be up to date in that sense... Too bad you're not maintaining this plugin anymore, but I will continue to experiment with the settings to get this version working correctly. ;-)

Cheers, Jan
