Hi there. I just checked today, it seems that an Oculus browser update on beta may have this fixed or at least mitigated.
I will see what I can do to help out as I have a Quest 2 as well.
In the meantime, I might be able to whip up a volume slider to help out for those who don't want to opt-in on the Oculus Beta software updates.
Thank you! I got an Oculus browser update and now also experience good sync except when things get really hectic. A volume slider would be a valuable quality of life improvement.
The delay used to be extremely bad for me in the past but recently it seemed much better. There still is definitely some delay though. I wish theyre was a way to manually adjust the delay to make it better
Steps to reproduce: Start Moonrider in browser on Quest 2. Observe that beat hit sounds play slightly after the beat hit animation and the corresponding beat in the audio track.
I'm experiencing this issue, and I see a couple other reports on Moon Rider discord. I tested this on fresh booted Quest 2, in Oculus browser and Firefox Reality.
I also observe the app cannot maintain the target framerate when the headset is set to 72 or 90hz.
