I'd have to reindex the DB. It does pull directly, but we have a fast search in front of it. They do have their own search as well.
I could, but I'm worried about some breakages as they have updated their map formats, I'd need to spend some time to update to match the new format.
I was planning to design a custom map for a rare song (from Bretagne, where I come from) so wondering when this would be done or if there is a way to directly link to a custom map via a URL parameter for example.
Eventually, I'll add the new songs and maps and also allow specifying your own ZIPs. Would need to build a way to drag to your computer and have it visible from your headset.
I'd love to be able to specify my own ZIPs. I'm just learning to create levels and it'd be great to be able to try them out with Moon Rider. I would be able to host the ZIPs from my own https page, if there was a way to specify a an xml or JSON list of ZIP urls, that'd work for me. Alternatively, loading them with SideQuest, or downloading the Zips to a folder, then browsing from Moon Rider would work for me too. Does Moon Rider use unmodified ZIPs that are meant for Beat Saber or are they modified in some way to make them compatible with punch mode? BTW, thanks for the recent updates. The gameplay on the Quest is so much better with the angled sabers and the fixed scoring in classic mode. I used to lose tracking of the controllers frequently, and now it rarely happens.
If uploading is tricky what about using it as a URL parameter e.g. ?songurl=https://myserver.tld/songs/supercoolmap.zip
or as @JustinB4 suggests a playlist e.g. ?songurl=https://myserver.tld/songs.json
which itself points to the list of zips?
Hi there. Just bumping this discussion to see if there's been any progress in being able to load locally saved beatmaps. Thanks.
how often does the DB get indexed? My daughter wants to play songs from Encanto. Which I do see exist on Beatsaver https://beatsaver.com/?q=encanto
But not seeing them in Moonrider.
I am to understand that Moonrider takes it's songs directly from Beatsaver, but it seems to be not finding several songs that I know are on there, https://beatsaver.com/beatmap/6a02 for example, does not show up no matter how I try to search for it.
