The correct behavior of copying the built plugin to %userprofile% only happens when I select one of the following solution configurations: "1. Alpha (Debug)", "2. Beta (Release)", "3. Stable (Release)". However, the default configuration that is selected when we create the plugin project ("Debug") does not copy the files over. Maybe it's worth mentioning in the development guide?
