Reverting to old plugin versions without having to completely uninstall current ones #169

if a user wants to go back to a previous version of a plugin, he has to uninstall the current one and then select a previous version to install. This takes a lot of time. Could the process be made faster? In theory, only files that differ between plugin versions need to be copied or deleted, so it should take a lot less time.
