If you wipe into an object's infill you can properly see the filament wiped into the infill in the Gcode preview tab (when choosing the Filament view). In the Sliced preview tab you won't see it, leading you to think there is no wiping occurring.
This behavior occurs both when wiping into an object's infill and when wiping into an object alltogether
Sliced preview, filament colors match only where they would be if no wiping occurs
Gcode preview, wiping is properly displayed when viewing filament colors
