2.5.60.0 -- Crashes during gcode generation process of a BUSHING with a ring on top #4434

Open aleXXall opened 1 month ago

aleXXall commented 1 month ago

What happened?

Crashes during gcode generation process with a particular but simple object (bushing in file SuSl_01.JPG attached) SuSl_01 SuSl_02

With this bushing, which is the same but without the ring on top, the gcode generation process completes successfully. SuSl_03 SuSl_04

Project file & How to reproduce

Create a bushing like the one showed in SuSl_01.JPG with your 3D cad and save it as STL file. Open this STL in SuperSlicer and let try to generate code. It should crash. Now, create a bushing like the one showed in SuSl_03.JPG and open its STL file in SuperSilcer: the gcode generation process should completes successfully. SuSl_01 SuSl_03

The reason a project file is required is that the devs need your SPECIFIC file. I just followed your instructions and created a stl file in the manner you describe, a bushing and loaded it into SuSi 2.5.60 image

and using my normal profiles sliced it. No problems image

It could be one of a hundred + things that caused it to crash. A saved version of your SuSi project will contain (most) of them.
