Screen SD card slot must be exposed, so display must also be aligned with top edge of board
Force and optical sensor pins can be combined in one connector, rest can be separated (BPM control, i2c, 20V output)
rpi pico w should be placed such that its usb connector is accessible either from the front, or front left/right corner of the board (see urban steering PCB for reference)
UI
buttons can be placed in whichever way makes the most sense: I was thinking that the two non-latching buttons should be to the left of the rotary encoder, and the one latching button could be to the right
Note: it's possible that this configuration may change: we might add more buttons
