Seekto Problem on large videos #571

Am using flow player version 3.2.10 and am hosting my videos on HDDN, on large 
videos, when i seek to a specific sec it vary from 2 to 5 secs, am using 
Pseudostreaming and RTMP plugins and i get the same problem

hi for pseduostreaming its dependant on where your seekpoints are, it's not 
very precise , rtmp should be fine though do you have a demo.

go to any sec, manually u will find difference 2 to 5 sec

i dont see an issue here there was an issue before where the time was being 
rounded.

Try to seek to 1:29:44 , it will go to 1:29:39 instead.

it looks like you've stumbled across a possible seek calculation issue

1:29.35 bought up 5375 not 5361.

its from the flow player itself, even when i seek manually by sliding the bar 
to 1:29:44 it goes to 1:29:39 

how can i solve it?!!

hi I ran some tests with other players, this seems to be something to do with 
the encoding or how the server is doing the seek can you please try with 
another file.
