looking at 2 approaches:

display all object or edge types that have a dc:description which we use for specifying human-readable descriptions; benefit: automatically generates options based on the blazegraph database
as suggested by @chadlaing , use a whitelisting approach where we code in all possible options; benefit: can use dc:description edge type for other things + fine-grained control over possible groups for comparisons
