Wrong colors in supertuxkart 0.8 #705

Hi all,

I am running supertuxkart 0.8 (binary downloaded from official website) with Ubuntu 12.04. Supertuxkart 0.7 (available in Ubuntu) used to work perfectly well, but with version 0.8, I get weird colors here and there (see attached picture). Is this a problem with my graphic card (GeForce 8300 GS) ? Is it possible to use an option of STK to avoid that ? Any suggestion welcome.

Author: curaga VRAM corruption. I'm afraid that's usually a sign that your graphics card is dying.
