While the biggest limitations on STK graphics are texture quality, 3D modelling quality, track lighting quality and engine performance handling complex tracks, there are some graphical options where improvements can be offered to players with the hardware to run it:
[x] LoD distances, to reduce popping. Done in 6cf094ab78bb96705a4e11e392e6e06df8622bfe and subsequent related patches
[x] Shadows. Done in ec4f4065f54e521a5f705b356575c78a85ff2051
Different shadow levels
2048 (new) - 1024 - 2048 (new) - 1024 - 512
