Nope. Chrome killed it.
http://blog.chromium.org/2015/10/streamlining-notifications-on-desktop.html
In some cases, these desktop notifications would appear while users were gone, so in 2013 Chrome launched the notification center, a place for users to find notifications from Chrome apps and extensions that they’d missed.
However, in practice, few users visit the notification center. To keep Chrome simple, it will be removed from Windows, Mac, and Linux in the upcoming release.
So, there is nothing to be fixed. It's dead, Jim.
The pop-up that shows when I got a new message used to be able to be hidden from a little bell icon that would pop up on my taskbar whenever chrome was opened (I use Windows 10), and just yesterday, this bell stopped appearing, preventing me from hiding the popup from the DeviantAnywhere addon. Could someone fix this please?
