No output to screen #7

I cloned the github file, added it to the module array in config, i even tried cat /tmp/shairportsync-metadata or whatever the file extension is. I also made sure the pipe name was the same in the shairport-sync folder and in the module configuration, but nothing is still outputted to the screen when music is playing via shairport. Any suggestions?

+1 one same issue. cat the metadata works, but nothing on MM

Seems to be an issue with the raspberry pi os bullseye, flashed the legacy version of raspberry pi os and reinstalled the whole system and it works now

Do you think this can be resolved without reinstall?

It’s the incompatibility with the software, could not figure out the exact cause tho. Installation of the legacy version did the magic. Just copied the magicmirror folder to another system, reflashed the sd card and moved back the magicmirror folder again and it worked.
