Cannot insert a picture while using IE9

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In IE9 in IE9 mode, start up a page with whizzywig in it that has an insert 
picture in tool bar.
2. insert a picture using the toolbar button
3. repeat after setting compatibility mode to IE8

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect a picture inserted. Instead, nothing happens.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Extended demo on unverse.net. 
Using released version of IE9 on Vista.

Please provide any additional information below.
