Oh actually, I realize you could do all of these in one fairly simple control set. Two strings, each one gets the following controls: Pan, level, frequency. And they share these controls: stiffness, decay, unison count, pan spread, frequency spread.
Then from the same effect, you can get: A single string (or string ensemble) panned wherever. Two slightly spread-out string ensembles, panned opposite each other. Two ensembles spread out across the whole field, tuned an octave apart. Etc etc etc.
Done in #80 etc
Could sound great!
A few different possible strategies here:
With Decay/Stiffness/Level as a shared control across all strings of course.
