surge mute sound after loading preset #7648

Bug Description: when you open trance pluck preset from Damon Armani presets sound is muted. even after loading another preset which was outputing sound it remains muted. try loading Attacky preset from basses play it sound is there. load the trance preset from Damon Armani sound is muted. go back to Attacky bass from basses and it wont out put sound. Surge XT Version Surge xt 1.3.1 4b53827

  2. Click on '...'
  3. Scroll down to '...'
  4. See error

It's the distortion in send effects chain that causes this.

@mkruselj do you mean swapping to a distortion on / distortion off patch leaves the distortion on? Is there a state bug here due to the distortion basically?

@Krambytes1 thanks for the detailed report!

IIRC if you bypass that distortion before playing a note it is fine. Or if you remove it from the patch.
