There are more issues with the links, when referencing local paths they work on github but not on hosted build.
For example from pages folder ./something will work, but pages/something will result in pages/pages/something and 404.
And from the website, pages/something will work but ./something will 404
The problem is that paths translate to urls in hosted build so relative paths starting with a dot . will break, and if absolute paths are used <domain>/#/pages/something they will differ from the github absolute path /docs/pages/something.
