Please attach a logcat output that I can see where the problem is.

I do not have the latest version. i am still have an old one. seems not
compatible with my latest 2.2.1 upgrade. however, i uninstalled it already.
I am trying to reinstall application version 3.0.8 but the download is not
working, i am stuck there. tryied all ways, can you email me the latest version
and i will try it

Okay, i have installed the latest version but we still have a problem.
the error remains. i am attaching screenshots as well as the LOGCAT file that i
got when running the Davik Debug monitor -->run logcat.

Serge is right, you dont have any su binary... but this is needed to run this
commands.

you can not root a 2.2.1 android. there is no way available now. this is why i
am unable to install the superuser. i have tried researching everywhere the 2.2
rooting way does not work.
if you know any way, please let me know. otherwise, you can close this IR but
then noone can run it without 2.2.1 rooting.

Root is an essential precondition for this tool.
But if you have a nexus it should always be possible ase you can connect with
adb.
After the oemunlock (which you probably have done in the first hour you had it
;-)) you can flash a recovery (for example AmonRA's) and start it.
Then you can use adb shell to access the system.
