What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try faking the phone
2. search on market for apps that is not available outside US (e.g. google maps)
3. no google maps found on search results

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
can't install country-restricted apps

What version of the product are you using? On what ROM?
using CM7

That is correct, new Market doesn't care if you have Market Enabler or not.
Restricted apps just don't show up.
The workaround is.. well, not to use the new Market. Freeze Market Updater in
Titanum Backup, and then uninstall Market update. That's it, you'll have the
old Market and all the benefits Market Enabler gives you.

For me they do show up as related to other apps. So just find something similar
and check related :)

@p.jaroszynski In my country paid apps are restricted completely. If I manage
to get such an app to show up in Market, when I try to install it fails saying
something like "not allowed in your device's country", no matter what setting I
make with MarketEnabler. So I'll stick with old Market version where everything
works fine.

Issue 135 has been merged into this issue.

I set it to fake provider on autostart and "sometimes" it works properly, and I
can access restricted apps (eg buy apparatus).

There is definitly something to do to fix that issue as it sometimes works.

Second this, we need an Enabler that can work with the new 3.1 market.

So google checks your ip address country now. I have setup DroidProxy with an
US proxy address and I can now purchase apps from the new market.

So, market enabler should introduce a proxy setting (good free us proxies list
http://proxy-ip-list.com/free-usa-proxy-ip.html)

Quick how to:

The program isnt droidproxy , its Proxydroid. A very buggy app.

And even though I set it up I still cant access Market from Turkey anymore. I
tried a few proxies and none of them work.
