Option to keep sidebar menu open #284

Describe your feature request It would be nice to have the option to keep the sidebar menu 'open'. I sometimes mistakenly hover my mouse too far to the left and the side-menu pops out which is frustrating, blocking the elements behind it that I meant to click on.

e.g. The ability to keep this menu 'locked' open: 2024-05-19 11 09 37

Are you willing to contribute this feature? Nope.

This will be available in the next release as a new sidebar appearance setting. Thanks for the suggestion!
