Same issue present on Nexus One running Android 2.31. Works fine with "Only
Using BT Headset" but then the call are not routed to BT device but instead
answered on the phone itself.

I have tried this on Nexus S and an updated HTC EVO having 2.3.2 version but it
never seemed to crash. It answers the call fine.

Confirm that it is force closed on Gingerbread if "Only Using BT Headset" is
checked.

I tried the app on HTC Desire S, with Android 2.3.3. It is force closed when
calling with "Only Using Bluetooth headset" enabled.

I am a WCDMA Network Test & Automation Engineer, I had written an app to toggle
3g data, auto-answer an incoming call & auto dial using MODIFY_PHONE_STATE
permission. It works perfectly fine with Android 2.2 and below versions. When I
ported to Gingerbread the app behavior is unpredictable, it crashes most of the
time. Please restore the usage of the permission or let me know if any one has
found another way.
Thank you

My htc evo shift was updated and now auto answer does not work. It crashes
every time my phone rings. I desperately need this app because I am disabled.
The phone is useless without it!

I believe this app is now obsolete, as auto-answering functionality is now
built into the OS. I know 2.3 has it, but I am unsure of earlier versions.
Can anyone confirm?
