Jail Cell
The small jail cell is brick on three sides, metal bars on the other, with
a tightly locked gate. A small window is set into the brickwork above your
head. Through the jail bars you can see the sheriff's office.

A broken stool lies on the floor.

Muddy leans against the wall.

In the corner of the cell, a disheveled man in a black suit is stretched
out on a crude wooden bench and is snoring loudly, oblivious to your presence.

You can also see a hunk of meat here.

A dented food bowl sits on the office floor, only a few feet from the jail
bars.

In the office you can also see Flash.

You're carrying a gray tube, a spoon, a can of beans, a tin, a harmonica, a
spur, your pocketwatch, and a scrap of paper. You are wearing your hat,
pants, overcoat, left boot, and right boot.

>use tube with stool
You ain't able to see no such thing.

(haven't picked up the stool yet, but should I have to?)

ah - it's just the syntax "use tube with stool" that's not accounted for. "put
tube
in stool" seems to work. but maybe both should be allowed?

The "use" verb is not generally used in IF because it's too general and would
short-
circuit puzzles. However, we've tried to allow certain cases of it because some
phrases
are just more natural like "use toilet" in our previous game. In Hoosegow,
we've also
permitted a few cases, but it's mostly blocked. The parser expects one object
after
"use", so your more complicated construction, use x with y, confused it. I've
created
another verb that fits this grammar, though (use x with/on y) and also gives
yields a
blocking message asking the player to rephrase.
