"Lookie here, Mud. There's some fancy engraving on the harmonica."

"Don't that beat all. What do it say?"

"Let's see. I could do with more light. You got a lantern?"

"Nope."

"Torch?"

"Unh-uh."

"Matches?"

"Nary one."

"Dang. Didn't we say that next adventure we'd bring 'em?"

"I reckon we did, at that."

"Well, the moon's up, I can see a little. It says, --Donated to the
Crawdad's Gulch Municipal Hoosegow by the Gunslinger's Widows Association,
Chapter Forty-One.--"

"These is some Ace-high accomodations we got us, I'll say."

>give harmonica to muddy
Muddy glances at the harmonica and says, "I ain't got no idea what I'd do
with a harmonica. No thanks."

You're carrying a pamphlet, a hunk of meat, a small brass key, a gray tube,
a stool, a tin, a harmonica, a spur, your pocketwatch, and a scrap of
paper. You are wearing your right boot, left boot, hat, pants, and overcoat.

(it seems like I have it in my inventory, but it's also attached to the
wall by a chain?)

Initially, we'd had more ideas that revolved around the tethered harmonica, and
it
explained how the harmonica managed to stay in the jail house. The intention is
that
harmonicas come with jail cells like the Gideon bibles come with hotel rooms.
